Off to Portugal
Tomorrow, at 8:35 am (+2h GMT) I will take off with my fiancee Joana to her home country for 30 full days. I will return to then possibly cold'n'rainy Finland on 26th of August, back to my new hobby: Midgard documentation with marvellous net.nemein.wiki.
Summer in Finland is starting slowly to wear out and this is a nice extension to it. I am still a bit worried of the idea of +42°C combined with heavy drought Portugal has suffered already for a long time
I have been using a silly excuse of "they're stupid animals anyway" when I've been ordering fish in restaurants. I am converting myself slowly to a full vegetarian and since fish are more intelligent than dogs I think I have to stop being hypocrite and discard fish as well from my diet. This will be especially hard in Portugal, where vegetarian food is not a choice.
My reasons for being 90% vegetarian has been utilitarian and ecological rather than ethic or moral, which of course are lying underneath my consciousness as well. But explaining that will be a completely new blog entry, which I will be writing with time.
