MidCOM for content producers

I have been writing a lot of information on how to produce content with MidCOM, concentrating on MidCOM version 2.5 and some issues of the future version 2.6. At the moment, as far as I know, most of the core functionalities of MidCOM for content producers have been documented.

Some parts of the manual was written originally by my colleague Jukka Asiala, who is our trainer, also doing most of the training for the clients of Nemein. Those parts I checked out, corrected and translated into English. On the list below four last parts are completely my handwriting.

• TinyMCE content editor
• Images in MidCOM
• On-site AJAX editing
• Composite editing
• Approvals
• Permission management

Bergie demonstrated me today the implementation of RCS for revisions, so when that is released with MidCOM 2.6 beta 3, I will concentrate on that as well.

Comments and suggestions concerning the documentation is welcome, as it is going to be delivered to our English-speaking clients in the training sessions.
