atmosphear commented on an entry by me-ow. titled "Updated Results" regarding make a smaller ecological footprint:
All I needed was Google and keywords ‘ecological footprint’. Here are my results:
Category: Global hectares
Food: 1.1
Mobility: 2.4
Shelter: 0.9
Goods/services: 2.9
Total footprint: 7.3
In comparison, the average ecological footprint in your country is 8.4 global hectares per person.
Worldwide, there exist 1.8 biologically productive global hectares per person.
If everyone lived like you, we would need 4.1 planets.

Basically where I could change the most is ‘Goods/services’ – I cook mainly from raw ingredients, but the issue is that most of them come somewhat packaged.
